2017 Black Heritage Forever Stamp to honor legendary civil rights icon Dorothy Height

The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History will partner with the U.S. Postal Service, YWCA, National Council of Negro Women, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. to host an unveiling of the new Dorothy Height Black Heritage postal stamp.
The ceremony will be on Monday, February 13, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History. It's located at 315 E. Warren Ave in Detroit. The program is free and open to the public.
Dorothy Height was a tireless activist, dedicated her life to fighting for racial and gender equality. She became one of the most influential civil and women's rights leaders of the 20th century.
