DIHEF hosts reception for STEM Students from Arizona

DIHEF recently held a reception for students from the STEAM & Global Citizenship Mentoring Program. The 14 girls (ages 12-16) and their chaperones were welcomed at the Height Foundation Office with lunch, a tour, and a scholarship presentation.

“I want to thank [DIHEF] so much for all you did to make our visit to the Dr. Dorothy Height Foundation a success. Our cohort absolutely loved the experience, the thoughtful luncheon, and valuable information and history. Experiences like this make an imprint our student’s lives forever. It is because of kind people like you that we hope for a brighter future for our youth, particularly women.” — Loretta Cheeks, Ph.D., Strong Ties, Founder & CEO
